Q. How many races do I have to complete in order to get a series award?
A. We are giving awards to all participants that complete seven or more of the nine series races.
Q. Do I have to place in my age group to qualify for the series awards?
A. No. All you have to do is complete seven or more of the series races to qualify. Your finish time, whether you run, walk or crawl across the finish line, is not a factor in the participation awards.
Q. Do I have to sign up differently to get a series award?
A. No. We will be getting results from the races and then filtering the list of partipants who complete seven or more races. All you need to do is register and complete seven or more of the series races. To minimize error, please make sure that you use the same name when you register for each race (ex. Billy vs William). If you have any questions about your status, click on the Check Status link at the top of the page to see the latest results.
Q. Where do I get my series award?
A. We wil be presenting the series awards at the Awards Presentation race in December. A list of award winners will be posted on the website following the completion of the last race in the series to confirm award level. Sizes for awards (if applicable) will be taken from previous race registration information.
Q. I've seen someone wearing an Alamo Series shirt. Where do I get one?
A. Custom designed Alamo Series training shirts are available for sale at all of the series races and at sponsoring running specialty stores in San Antonio.
